Anyway, Hai Phong is located along Kingsway by Inverness. With so many Vietnamese restaurants along this stretch of Kingsway, it is very easy to dismiss Hai Phong as just one of the many. The interior is bright because of the glass wall along the facade of the restaurant. The place looks new and even have wide screen TVs mounted on the walls. We arrive in Haiphong on a flight from Da Nang at 9.25 am and I have been looking at how we get to Cat Ba to carry on to Monkey Island. The speedboats, hydrofoils and ferries all seem to go by 10.20 am from Haiphong meaning we will have to wait until a later connection which would appear to be circa 1.00 pm in the afternoon. Since the new highway Halong-Hai Phong established, most of people will not using the old road to go to Hai Phong (18th road). Fee for highway is just 5000VND more so why not people choosing it!
